Memebox Special #31 Earth & Sea Cosmetics

Kia Ora!!

Another Memebox arrived. Earth and Sea cosmetics. I've been dying for this one to arrive, especially after the spoiler (a volcanic ash mask) was released. I'm so excited to see what's inside!!!

It looks so full of stuff! And there is a sheet mask. There's a sheet mask guys!! If you've been reading my blog for awhile you know I'm obsessed with anything mask related. Excitement levels just went off the charts!

Card with all the pertinent information.

Shara Shara Black Charcoal Mask Purifying

I'm currently dancing around the lounge with this mask in my arms. No time to write anything, I'm too busy being excited! Check back as this mask will appear in an empties or masked madness post, and you can see if it's any good then. I've not heard of the brand, but as I'm still fairly new to this Korean beauty thing that's not really a surprise.

Secret Nature Volcanic Ash Pore Pack

I'm in heaven. I have been looking forward to getting this and it looks amazing! It smells really nice, not like ash, or anything weird. There seems to be a heap there, and it looks all smooth and stuff. It's calling to me (UPDATE: I've used this twice, it is AMAZING, you can look forward to an individual review of the mask soon).

Tosowoong Super Aqua Cooling Gel

This looks ... different. Apparently it uses deep sea minerals  to give you "firm and supple skin all day long." Hmmmmm. I'll happily add it into my ever-growing skincare routine, It absorbed really nicely into my hand, but I didn't notice any cooling effects. The skin is quite soft now, so that's a good sign.

Deweytree Mineral Healthy Sun Cut Loose Powder SPF36 PA++

This is officially my first makeup product from Memebox. I don't wear much usually, so I tend to stay away from the makeup heavy boxes in favour of skincare. I'm happy to try this out, because I'm more likely to wear a light powder than a heavy foundation. I also like the fact that it has SPF in it, and we are headed into summer (in the Southern hemisphere at least).

I played with this straight away. I'm ashamed to say it took me ages to figure out there was another application puff hidden in the lid. Clever! I quite like the powder. It claims to leave a "long-lasting silky finish" and by-golly it does. My skin was so flawless to touch after application, and it looked great. It isn't a perfect match for my skin tone, but close enough. I really like it!

Elizavecca Elastic Pore Mask Cleansing Foam

This is super cute packaging, and I found it really adorable until I read the card. This cleanser has charcoal (the link to the box theme), collagen from pig skin, and spider extracts. I'm rather apprehensive about this product now, and I'm not sure I'll use it. I am onboard with snail slime and bee venom, but I am very unsure about pig skin and undisclosed parts of spiders. Especially in combination.

I have a bunch of cleansers lined up at the moment, so this is going on the back-burner regardless. I would love to open them all and have a good play but I can't because a) my skin would go bananas and hate me, b) I would take over the bathroom with half-used products, and c) I would never finish anything. So I'll have time to think about this one before I decide whether I'll be using it or not.

Ariul Spa Water 24 Hours Moisturizing Refreshing Mist

A bottle of spa water from Belgium. I'm thinking this is pretty tenuously linked to the box theme, but I'll take it. I'm not sold on spraying water on your face, but this is perfumed and smells nice so I'll do it. I'll take one for the team.

In all seriousness, this smells nice and sprays in a nice, even mist. I can see this being kept in the fridge and used frequently on hot summer days. That will be quite refreshing!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Total value of the box: $153
I paid $31, including shipping.

I'm really impressed with this box. Totally worth the wait, and I'm going to use the majority of the products. The only one I might not use is the cleanser, and even then it's not a major factor in the box. I think my favourite product is the volcanic ash mask, and I'm very excited to have it to add to my ever-growing mask collection.

This box isn't available for purchase anymore, but there are plenty of other awesome ones that Memebox have released. If you want to check some out, Memebox releases new ones every week. I'm especially excited about the From Jeju box, and the Chocolate Mania one. The TonyMoly one looks amazing too, but I've managed to have a tiny bit of self-discipline so far!

If you want to check out current discount codes, or any of my previous unboxings, check out the Memebox tab at the top of the blog

Until next time ...
